Jodeen brings over sixteen years of experience to her work as a Thai Yoga massage therapist. Twenty years as a yoga teacher with a strong background in dance and movement influence the grace of her sessions which are smooth, strong and fluid.
Thai massage is an elegant and unique bodywork modality that in addition to relieving tension and sore muscles, calms the nervous system, soothes the adrenals, decompresses the spine, stimulates the lymph. Elements of traditional massage, acupressure, gentle supported twists, subtle cranial manipulations and simple breathing are woven into each session.
It has been described as “having yoga done on you, but you are completely passive.”
No level of flexibility is at all required to receive a session.
Sessions take place on a large padded mat on the floor and the recipient wears loose comfortable clothing. Yoga clothes or sweats and a t-shirt.
Essential oils, fantastic music and hand crafted body butter are carefully curated to assist in making each session a singular, deeply restorative and rejuvenating experience.
